Overview

Every year, senior engineering students participate in a two-semester Senior Design course, where they apply the knowledge learned in the classroom and work with industry partners on a sponsored project. These undergraduates work in teams, often interdisciplinary to provide innovative and creative solutions for real-life projects.

Sarasota Native Earns Prestigious Honors Recognition in Civil Engineering

Natalija Nikolic has earned Florida State University’s coveted honors medallion, completing rigorous research requirements to graduate with Honors in the Major in Civil Engineering this December.

The Sarasota native demonstrated exceptional academic achievement by completing an original honors thesis, pushing the boundaries of undergraduate research in civil engineering while maintaining excellence in her coursework.
