FAMU-FSU College of Engineering researchers are developing a modular solar electricity system that can help communities keep electricity flowing during natural disasters.

The project is one of 20 designated by the U.S. Department of Energy to increase community resilience from disruptions caused by extreme weather and other disasters.

Devin Nobles was crowned Mister Florida A&M University 2023 at the annual coronation held at FAMU’s Lee Hall auditorium.

Chip manufacturers are making historic investments in new chip manufacturing facilities in the U.S. thanks to the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act of 2022.

But experts worry there may not be enough qualified workers to meet the booming demands of this thriving industry. A new collaboration between Intel and Florida A&M University at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering may provide a solution.

The FAMU-FSU College of Engineering welcomed one of its largest graduate enrollment classes in the history of the college. The university’s unwavering commitment to student success and vital academic programs for in-demand careers may be the key.
