The Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering (IME) at the Florida A&M University (FAMU)-Florida State University (FSU) College of Engineering invites applications from highly qualified individuals for a tenure-track faculty position in Advanced Materials and Manufacturing. We are seeking faculty candidates for an assistant professor position; however, exceptional candidates will be considered for higher ranks. The anticipated appointment time is Fall 2026.

Zhiyong (Richard) Liang, the Sprint Eminent Scholar Chair Professor in the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering and associate dean for research, has been selected for induction into the Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine of Florida, recognizing his extraordinary contributions to advanced materials research and engineering innovation. He was one of six faculty inductees from Florida State University (FSU).
