Corbin, an electrical and computer engineering student at the joint college, graduated in 2024, leaving behind a legacy of accomplishments after just four years as an undergraduate.
Undergraduate engineering students are invited to a presentation given by William Jenks of ORNL’s Office of Research Education to learn about ORNL’s many opportunities for summer internships and other student programs aimed at undergraduates and recent graduates. The session will give you an idea of different research areas and the keys to a successful application.
Applications for Summer 2025 will open in October. The presentation will give information on multiple Summer 2025 internship opportunities, including:
A record number of senior engineering students from the nation’s joint college participated in the event, which marks their transition from student to professional engineer.
More than 275 students took the Order of the Engineer oath and accepted the stainless-steel ring “on their working hand,” which signifies a commitment to upholding professional and ethical standards in their engineering career.
